Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum although I visit here a lot. It is also only recently that I decided to try my hand at creating cc for my game.
I really like the flower arranging table and creating flower retail shops in sims 4 but I'm starting to tire of the vase colors. I don't want to simply override them, I would like to add more.
I was able to find the DST image for the vase arrangements (browsing through the sims 4 files) but when I create a new one I'm confused how to link it to the object state tuning (OST). The OST for each of the original base game vase just have a (what seems rather random to me) name as the set_to_custom_value and im not sure how that links to the DST image. The only complete object was for the "flower arrangement (in progress)" (found in sims4studio with show debug on) so I tried to use it to model my tuning file.
Nothing seems to work. All that works is my menu category for the vase color shows up in game but when I click it I get the white glitter vase which is probably the default if something goes wrong. 😭
Please help. And go easy on me, I'm new to modding. Thanks in advance.

I am assuming there is a particular vase "default" for flower arranging. This said, find THAT vase in the "Selective Clone" search window and clone it. In the warehouse tab of your cloned object, on the object definition line, search for object tuning. Add THAT tuning to any vase you like and it should work in your flower arranging.

Thanks leniad for the response but there doesn't seem to be any. I searched s4studio for it.

Is there a way to link a DST image to a material state in an object State Value tuning xml?
I wish I could add pics here to better explain my problem.
