This may and maynot belong to this category, im not looking for this content its just somthing i thought of that was interesting and since i wouldnt be able to ever make it i thought id just share the idea i guess.
What if you could like have your adult or elder (or depressed teen sims maybe) go to the bookshelf or computer and 'write a will' where they can choose to leave certain things to sims they know and love? like write 'Leave house to...' and choose which sim you want to have it. and idk.. if they die you get prompted to move that sim into the house? or like 'leave fortune to...' or even 'leave pets to...' idk if anyone HAS actually done this, like i said it was just a thought, idk anything about making mods so idk how hard it would be to do somthing like this but i thought it would have potential to be quite the amusing mod.
Not kinda the same thing but the
SimCity Insurance mod goes into that kind of direction
"This mod allows you to receive an amount of money from the Insurance Company when a family member or a friend dies." -

it says:
1) FIRST: in order to perform the new 3 interactions you need to have the buff: "loss in the family" (it normally spawns when a family members or friends dies)
2) Create a new social event from the phone category and choose "SimCity Insurance Company" (and tick the box "goaled event")
3) select JUST the place and start the event
4) Complete the goals by performing the new interactions on the Insurance Company Members (you can find the 3 new interaction inside the "FRIENDLY" category)
5) After completing the goals you can wait till the end of the event or close it early
6) When the event is over you will receive a new buff (if you complete at least 1 of the goals) that will remove all the negative buffs so you will no longer be able to select the 3 new interactions and receive another Insurance unless another sim will die again..
so someone had something similar in their mind but I also like your idea of things
maybe you should have a talk with
mome89x about it?
