Hi there I am brand new to the making and modding of packages and cc and all of that, though I have been a simmer since The Sims way back when, and a lover of CC since I discovered it for Sims 3. Now I supposed it's only natural I get into making my own in Sims 4, but I'm running into a problem. All but 1 or 2 of the cc collars I've downloaded clips through my sims' necks, particularly the bigger ones, fat or muscular doesn't matter, if the neck is anything above the thickest it gets on a super skinny sim, it clips through. Even then some of the skinny sims have clipping issues.
So I downloaded Blender and S4S and i was able to successfully edit one so that it almost doesn't clip at all except on the thickest of thick necks, e.g. highest fat and muscle AND dragging the neck as far to thick as the base game slider will go. But the collar doesn't stretch with the neck. I have one collar aside from the base game option that does what it's supposed to do.
What I'm asking is, how do I edit the UV maps on the other collars to adjust when my sims' neck changes?
Pictures for reference
The one on the left is what happens with all of the other collars, even though her neck is fairly thin, the front entirely clips into it and no amount of adjusting has fixed it on that end. The one on the right works practically perfectly, except for that tiniest bit of clipping at the top edge. Note: this was a sim I made before I put the cc in my game, and I'm attempting to put the cc on her.
This is a sim I randomly spawned for the purpose of demonstrating the two collars from the previous photos. This is the one from the right, and it doesn't clip at all except for the tiniest bit when I sized her neck up as thick as I could get it with the base game sliders, including max fatness and musculature.
And here's the collar I attempted to adjust, and is also the other collar from my first picture. It sits perfectly on the thin neck but when I size her up, it clips not only through the front but the sides and back as well. It doesn't stretch at all.
Any help would be appreciated? How do I make the collar size up with her neck?
