I made a fullbody outfit that is a T800 Terminator model taken from a FPS game. Every time i put it in sims and to to look for it in the CAS it crashed when i get to a certain point. Thought it just had to many individual pieces, and cut it into sections, yet it still crashed sims. I have made a few things like this in the past, they have never done this yet i used the same methods. What is wrong here?

14288 polygons and 11950 vertices. Managed to reduce it to 7143 polygons and 6489 vertices but it does the same thing. Should it be even lower?

Ok, i may have spoke to soon. Fixed all the issues you mentioned and lowered the polygons significantly. now it only has 6444. Still crashes the game though. Spent almost an hour trying to figure out whats still wrong. by all accounts it should be working Still thank you for helping me thus far though, every thing you mentioned would cause problems and are now fixed i think. There's WAY too many bones in your mesh. IMO usually this causes distortion but I guess there were enough to crash the game. I got it to work by splitting the mesh into head, top, and bottom parts. As I recall the maximum number of bones is 60, so two would probably work. In CASAs you see I didn't do a very good job of splitting it, but it still looks great!

Well, it took me a while but i finely tried doing some modding again, cut this mesh down and deleted the unnecessary bones as you said and it STILL crashes. Good to know all the weights worked judging by your screenshot, i have a beefy computer so really don't understand this, perhaps its just me so leaving the project alone for now. Sad i can't get it to work but don't know what else to do.
