Has anyone considered making Sims 4 Studio open source on Github? My husband is a programer and has said numerous times that if it were available he would love to help make updates to it. He's got the skills, just not the access.
In any case, making it open source would lessen the burden placed on the current creators (who are awesome by the way!), and would also allow those with the skills and ideas the opportunity to implement them. This is just something I wanted to throw out there! It's already a free, community-driven tool so I think people would love to use their skills to contribute to the program.
If you guys have any questions (or just don't have the time but would be willing to hand open-sourcing over to someone else) please feel free to reach out. We would be more than happy to help make this happen!

Hi pepperonipuffin, we have no plans to make this project open source. It's just a personal hobby for us. If your husband has a project he wants to work on that he wants to get help with, he's free to post here for help, we're happy to share experience and tips
