Yes, in fact you might need more than one
1). A nude/lingerie/swimsuit body that will go under clothing. Or you can duplicate needed body parts from the rig, just make them selectable first, duplicate and add a cut number;
2). If the shape of your garment significantly differs from a nude body (say, something with a skirt-like bottom), it's best to append a different mesh that is closest to yours in shape and use it for weight and uv_1 transfer.
