Has anyone figured this out? I want to turn the boombox into an off the grid object or even a speaker and pretend it's a bluetooth one. Is this possible? Thank you.

I think I've figured it out, at least in theory. Objects that function off the grid have their own tuning. It includes an affordance for off the grind interaction tunings. Take the DIY shower/tub. The object definition includes this: "Tuning": "object_showerTubCurtain_OffTheGridCompatible", Looking at that tuning alone, its super_affordances include: <T>212246<!--shower_TakeShower_OffTheGrid--></T> That interaction tuning is pretty normal, it specifies how it works, any buffs, etc. and then in the end it uses a whitelist/blacklist system using lot traits, in this case the Off the Grid trait: <V t="zone"> <U n="zone"> <U n="zone_tests"> <V n="zone_modifiers" t="enabled"> <U n="enabled"> <V n="whitelist" t="specify"> <U n="specify"> <L n="whitelist"> <T>206665<!--zoneModifier_lotTrait_OffTheGrid--></T> </L> </U> </V> </U> </V> </U> </U> </V> I've noticed that the tuning for the "listen to stereo off the grid" interaction uses both a whitelist and a blacklist. I assume it's so it's different depending on whether you're on (or off) the grid. I think making or modding an object to work off the grid, you'd have to make similar tunings or edit them accordingly. I hope this makes sense and helps you somewhat!
