Hi, so I've edited a mesh and everything looks okay in blender and and sims 4 studio, but in CAS, there's this weird....artifact looking thing near a section of my mesh and I just....have no idea how to fix it (new creator, sorry)? It looks like this in game: Files: link

The little hair extras you have added have faces on the inside which they shouldn't have and are weighted to a vertex group called "Group" which also should not be in your mesh. That is what is causing the issue. It is the inside of the hairs that float because they are not weighted to a bone the game understands. You should just delete those faces and the "Group" vertex group as the inside of the hair shouldn't be visible. Alos be aware that your mesh will not work with hats because you have not created the hat chops. One mesh group should be the full hair, another group should be for wearing level hats, and the other group for wearing slanted hats.

When I try to delete the faces, it also deletes the outside faces, how do I go about deleting them? I've removed the vertex group called "group". Thanks for checking this out, I really appreciate it!

When I delete faces on objects I highlight the edges surrounding the face and click Mesh (at the bottom) up along the menu to Edges-Edge split. After you have disconnected them the face should be deletable.

Oh I forgot to say, highlight/select those edges in wireframe mode so you make sure you get them all, if you have a double sided face one set will be missed unless you can actually see them. They should turn bright yellow when you have them all. Sorry I should have added that

I managed to do this one of the little hairs I added, then I just deleted the other and recopied/pasted it, I'll try that next time though! Thank you so much, I'll see if this fixes my problem
