hi, i have a shadow problem with a mesh i'm working on: it looks like there's a problem where the leg and dress connect, but i have not edited that part of the mesh since importing it. i don't have any shadows in my blender but i do get one in s4s: any help would be appreciated! package link: hereblender file: here

The UVs of the inside dress have their texture seem to be off but I don't know what mesh you're using. Link to UV on Texture

You might have to export the texture again from the original texture and save the texture as a png image. It seems like it was exported as dds which caused the texture to change. I had something similar happened before which I noticed that saving some textures as dds causes some distortion.

I had something similar happened before which I noticed that saving some textures as dds causes some distortion. the texture was exported as a .png as i've slighted edit it in photoshop. if the shadows were caused by the texture or uv then it would show up in s4s, right? the shadow in s4s is on the skin as well so i don't think it's the dress texture. when i finished editing the mesh i removed all doubles and then split edges. i think something went a little wrong there. i'll just export the original mesh again and i won't remove doubles from that area.

i imported that part of the mesh again but was still having the shadow problem so i imported the original ea mesh, unedited, and it has problems too: is there something happening when s4s exports the mesh? i'm using blender 2.70. i'll try using 2.76 and see if that changes anything.

It might just be an issue with the mesh itself, I'm thinking if you take a look at the original mesh it may have the same issue.
