I'm wondering how to make decorative items, such as clutter, to only show up in a specific room category. Like for office clutter not to show in the Misc Decorations category in the kitchen tab when viewing objects by room. I thought it was the purpose of the room tags but it doesn't seem to have an effect. If not, what are the room tags for?

Some catagories are shared between rooms. I've noticed that flagging something as a bathroomn accent decor will also have it show up in kitchen misc. decorations. Some rooms also don't have the relevant section to actually click on in the UI.

Thanks for the response! The bathroom decor tag isn't the kind of room tag I meant. Bathroom accents is in the type of decorative object, not the tags designating a specific type of room. In the type of decorative object tags there are only Bathroom accents and Decorations (Kids) that indicate a specific room. In the Room category, there are tags for each of the tabs when you look at items by room in-game.
