Hi. I've been a long time lurker and user, but I believe this is my first time posting. I haven't created a lot of CC over the years and I've never shared anything. Inspired by a couple mods I've seen for both TS4 and TS3, I was wondering if it's possible to create bedframes and mattresses as two separate objects, but that work together as you'd expect if it were done by Maxis. I remember someone doing this once but the mattresses just hovered in mid air without a bedframe beneath it. I want to do basically the same thing, but I want the mattress to snap to the ground when hovering over it, but also able to snap to a slot on the bedframe. Ideally, it would work the way TVs and stands do, where you can either place a TV on the ground or on a stand, but nowhere else. Since I don't want TVs snapping to bedframes or mattresses snapping to TV stands, I believe a new, custom slot type would need to be created, and this is where I think I'd get stuck. Does anyone know if creating a new type of slot is possible, or, of any other way to accomplish this without mattresses being placable in bizarre locations? Thank you!
