could use a solution. there's no support for this. Hi. Make a thread in Creator help and provide some relevant information ( what version do you have, where it is installed, what you’ve done so far). For now I can tell you only to run as admin, add to exceptions in your antivirus, or install it on the d drive

For now I can tell you only to run as admin, add to exceptions in your antivirus, or install it on the d drive issue solved. this is for the open beta S4S 3.2.0.3. for me after all the frustration it was my .NET framework which i was certain i had up to date but apparently did not - i think i downloaded an old framework for something or whatever reason. so it was a setup-related user error due to an old framework that i hadn't kept up to date. if anyone has an old .NET framework and S4S won't open, try downloading the framework from the S4S download page. after i did that it opened up and started indexing. quite a large facepalm @ myself but if anyone else has this issue, check your .NET framework. it may not be up to date. could potentially solve other .NET related issues.
