What I need help with Part 1:
1) a person (or two or three) to help me figure out how to work the Mod constructor to make traits. (the only mod tutorials available are from the old version of it) and whoever decides to help me out must have a lot of patience w/ me.
Other Part I need help with (with an example)
I need people to help me figure out the buffs I need for the traits I want to re-make.
For example one of the traits I want to remake is Proper Trait I only have two maybe three things in mind for Proper Buffs)
1) loves tea (since my idea of a Proper person is Victorian British)
2)Neat (loves the house being in Neat condition)
3)Host/Hostess at their home with a party

Have you tried going to Zerbu's discord? I know that folks will help you there, but you may not get an immediate response (like post, wait a few minutes) depending on what time of day and how busy it is. The invite link is on his page.

They just told me and others to try to figure it out on our own because the "mod has a lot of help in it already" and there's already "tutorials by sims community" written. Problem is that those tutorials by the sims community are very, very outdated by 2 years. And I can't figure out poo with the mod helping thing either. I need a hand-in-hand guide not told to use outdated sources

There's a tutorial for this version and from this year linked in the Discord like they said.
The "help" in MC4 does guide you halfway with stuff like "If you want to do so and so, go here, open this, add this, etc." While it doesn't give extremely detailed instructions with pictures it's enough to get you started. The tutorial I linked should be enough for your trait. Once you get started, then they can help you by answering specific questions.
Your only two alternatives is to wait or pay someone to update the mods.

magnacarter - I am sorry to hear that they weren't helpful for that. The thread that the above video was originally in is this one HERE - there are some specific questions and answers that may help?

in my (and others) opinion that video kind of sort of sucks because instead of walking you through it well making a trait the trait shown in the video is already half made before the video is made. (sure there are text at the bottom but yet some people need a step-by-step guide on like which button to you press for which option? What use is that kind of a tutorial? Since at least when HonestytooPretty did a now-outdated tutorial she didn't start with a half-made trait she started from the beginning.
All I can do is like type the trait name, give it an icon, and that's about it. I can't figure out even with the video commodities (and like what would be a commiedy for "proper"?

I can try to help you if you'd like, I've made traits before with his modconstructor including the recently updated version. You can DM me here (idk if you can dm people here or not) or I am on discord or tumblr if you have either of those...just let me know what would work for you if you're still working on this.
