Hi I am quite new to sims 4 studio, I am getting this error message when I open and When I try to reconfigure, I get the message "an error has occurred please report this thanks  " |

The same thing is happening to me. I've been using sims 4 studio for awhile without issue, I'm not sure what changed. The path in settings looks correct to me: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\

Is the software there? I've just had a look at my windows partition and I have folders in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\ but the actual sims 4 application doesn't seem to be there.
Can you give me a screenshot of your preferences?

Click Settings tab to get this screen  Click the little blue bar to the right to navigate to the location of the application in the line. |

Here are my settings.  The exe is in the Bin folder, but when I try to set it to that (or anything else) I get the same message as monicachurch |

You don't set it to the .exe, just the Sims 4 folder.

I repaired my game through origin and that seems to have fixed the issue for me.

I also face this problem and try to find the way to fix it.
If you can fix that problem, Could you please tell me TT
I've tired to rapair and updated the game, and it's still not work.
I also reinstalled sims4studio several times, ad it shows the same result.
I'm so hopeless :'(
