Hi guys, I am new to making cc. Recently, I converted a deco from sims 3 to sims 4 following the following tutorial on the sims community s3 to s4 conversion However, when I open the cc in the game, there are these weird shadows that wasn't supposedly to be there. I checked basically everything (such as lod numbers, the uv map ...etc) to see if there are any changes, but sadly, the shadows are still there. Sending help..... Would be so grateful if anyone can help me to fix these annoying shadows

I think it's the game generating shadows (I have that problem happening all over in my game when items are close to walls, and it's really annoying) - could be due to settings or some such. If that's not the problem, I'd also like to know the solution...

I think these shadows are caused by the game's Screen Space Ambient Occlusion. I found a tutorial on how to possibly fix it for individual objects, and how to turn it off completely in your game. Apparently turning it off completely also turns off depth of field though.

hi @luvmysimz, thx for replying but I tried opening and deleting the occluders in the warehouse. However, I found out that the cc doesn't have any occluders? Does that mean there is something wrong with my conversion? FYI I used the base game toothbrush holder as the mesh. Are there any more ways to fix it?
