since I downloaded the new update an hour ago, every time I go in to export a mesh and it crashes. not sure if this is a bug or if I have done something wrong.

Mine is doing the same exact thing. I hit the mesh tab and it crashes.
Not sure if this will help but I tried it using the cheat code and when it got to exporting the mesh part this is the error I got. I was trying to export one of the new multi-functional bookcase/tv/stereos.

The same here. Create 3D mesh objects, but only the murphy beds and the tv, bookshelf, audio thing. I think only the combined objects are let S4S crashes the others are okay. Exporting clothing meshes are fine for me too.
