I had the brilliant idea to swap out the glass panes in some full wall windows for screens because I'm tired of not being able to make a real screened porch.
They look great, except the screen still has a shine like it's a pane of glass!
I am relatively new to creating and can not find info on how to remove this shine.
Please help, thanks!

Do you have the package and blend file for someone to look at? A picture would also be helpful. It could be that you need to change a shader or maybe you need to alter the specular. Without seeing the files we won't know.

It looks like you need to change the shader for the screen part of the mesh from InstancedGlass to InstancedWindow. This tutorial will explain how> sims4studio.com/thread/1926/find-objects-shader-data-studioYou may also wish to edit the low detail textures which are used when the camera is zoomed far away. They are found in the Warehouse section of Studio.
