Back in 2017 I made a similar post, but got no answers. I've stopped playing TS4 in the meantime but now I plan to get back to it. I don't think this has been done yet and I'd still love to have this on my game.
I'm one of those people that like to leave the TV on even if I'm not on the couch watching it, and I like it even more on The Sims games because it serves as background noise, but unfortunately in TS4, sims turn off the TV the moment they stop watching, even if it means they are just going to the bathroom or to grab some food. It's honestly annoying seeing them turn the TV on and off constantly.
What I'm looking for is an option to turn on/off the TV automatically like you do with the stereos.
I have no idea how difficult it would be to make such mod, but if a precious soul out there would like to give this a try I would love you for eternity.
(unless someone already made it and I just didn't come across it yet)
