I may figure it out before this gets answered but perhaps the answer can help someone else. I made some custom pictures using S4S and followed the tutorial exactly, almost. I used Paint Shop Pro 8 instead of what they had. But I did one and it turned out great and showed up in my game. Then I made a few more but I can't find them. Do I have to reopen the game each time I create something new? And should I be saving them in my mods folder (which I did) or will they be found in whatever folder I save them in? I'd really like to put them up in my sims house. Thanks for any helpful comments/suggestions.

Not sure exactly what you mean "but I can't find them".
If you mean that they don't appear in the game for purchase, there are several possibilities. 1. The different pictures you created were copies of the first one and not clones. Copies have same ids so are overwritten, clones have different ids and aren't overwritten. 2. The original picture is a hidden or entitlement object (object that can't be purchased until after a game event, usually a career step, is reached.
If you mean you can't find them in the mods folder 1. I am assuming you didn't rename them. I would rename a painting something like this
Painting - somename-creatorname
that way all the paintings stay together in mods folder.
Good luck

Thank you. I'm new at this and just discovered Sims 4 Studio so I played around with it. After restarting the game, I found 3 of the ones I did, meaning they showed up in the game afterall. I wasn't really sure anyone would see this anytime soon so I appreciate your feedback. And thanks for the name suggestion; that's a better way to name them. I'll work on it more today. Thanks again.
