Hey everyone! I'm Leon aka simbidcuriosity!
I'm a 19 year old Jewish-Australian YouTuber who's first introduction to The Sims series was at about age 9 or 10 with The Sims 2. I'm very new to the world of CC making and I want to try and make some content in some areas that lack.
Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful program and I hope to make as much wonderful content as possible! :D

Hello
I'm someone who used to make content for the sims, and for second life. I got Sims 4 earlier in the year and I've been playing with making new content.

Hi there! I'm Dot. I've been playing sims since the first game, dabbled in CC creation in TS2 and machinima with TS2 and TS3. Wanting to create more, I learned how to 3D model and have resided in Blender ever since. I obtained TS4 this summer and thought making CC would be a great way to step out of my modeling comfort zone. I look forward to learning and creating with you all!

Hello to simbidcuriosity, secretlondon and you polkadotswirls our community mostly in super friendly and help in what is needed You can stop by: sims4studio.com/thread/662/index-studio-tutorials-online-manualand you will find tutorials both for Cas and for building mode And if you need help, go here: sims4studio.com/board/8/creator-helpThere are some simblrs who asked in that section and do not publish anything in creator studio so it is for everyone Anyway, not only stick with it, they can opt for the friendliest simblrs who have given useful information you can also ask simblrs
for example recently: misschaii.tumblr.com/post/187960993617/misschaii-ok-ok-ok-so-i-originally-me-and(pm required and 18 years old) there are many simblrs who are willing to help not the whole community is bad at simblr Here are some useful other tutorials that have come out recentlyuonosims.blogspot.com/2019/10/tutorial-for-sims-4-cc-creating-top.htmlbeverlyallitsims.tumblr.com/post/185060029719/brstigmata-blstigmataratboysims.tumblr.com/post/175235866315/you-ever-get-to-the-hands-while-making-a-pose-tryHere you have my tutorial but it is in Spanish although there is nothing where I speak hehe:
nefariouslabs.tumblr.com/post/186092863609/slaytbeauty-hello-everyone-and-welcome-to-slaylaupipi-blog.tumblr.com/post/188317287371/sims-4-cloting-tutorial-here-is-a-completelyllazyneiph.tumblr.com/post/179514418988/learn-how-to-make-make-clothing-ccsimmerberlin.tumblr.com/post/184318454188/posing-tutorial-facial-expressions-helluu-youalexaarr.tumblr.com/post/187967413306/how-to-create-earrings-from-scratchillogicalsims.tumblr.com/post/182447666589/basic-new-mesh-cc-tutorial-recently-cc-tutorialssimmerberlin.tumblr.com/post/185862763108/posing-tutorial-natural-poses-hewwoo-welcome-tobut if you search the net you will surely find other tutorials in English simandy has tutorials too simandy.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/tutorialthe bad thing about providing a lot of information is that I am always very disorganized I try to improve that but I hope you can at least understand I think Katverse recently made a list of all his tutorials in his own way The first thing easier is to make recolors but if you already have experience in blender, 3dmax or marvelous designer you can choose to make your own mesh following some online tutorials if you still don't have that well focused you can start with some mesh edit If you have no idea, you can start reading the forum tutorials recolors or recolors on famous palettes such as sorbet remix or widlyminiaturesadwich tattoos, makeup, clayified, facial paint, eyes, piercings, objects in short there are many categories Have a nice trip in this wonderful forum and do not forget that if you want to publish your progress you can open a workshop or publish your content on tumblr or blogs like blogspot or wixsite if you publish your work on tumblr make sure you tag ccfinds that have many people following them so that their work is recognized

Hi! I'm a 25yo simmer since the sims 1 and of course I love the game! I speak Spanish, English and German, in that order :P
Making custom content is something I've always wanted to: I did some stuff here and there on the S2 but is only with the TS4 that I've been able to make better pregress, thanks to this community! I'm glad everyone here is very friendly, and I hope I can give back a little for all the fun and knowledge I've gained here.

You will find that the resources here as well as the Custom Content creation software that this site provides are quite helpful and useful. I personally started with Sims 3 myself, but have since branched out trying other Sims games such as the Sims Medieval (Basically a hybrid of Sims 3 and Sims 2 only medieval), My Sims (A kid friendly spin off of the rated T Sims games), Sims 2, and I have tried a little bit of The Sims 1. I actually didn't know CC was a thing until one day I was searching for stuff a long time ago for my Sims 3 and found some awesome websites that had free community made clothing, hairstyles, and furniture.
My interest in making CC started with simply enjoying re-texturing/recoloring things in general as I had slight experience already having been a creator for another game that allowed you to make your own content. Anyways I hope you can find the guidance and community you are looking for here. I myself only have ran into a few bad apples on this forums site (most of which the staff have been outstanding at handling these bad apples), however for the most part everyone is really nice here and helpful! The staff are really nice as well. Have an awesome time here and enjoy the rest of your day. Nice to have you here with us!

Hi all My name is Kodi, and I have been playing the Sims games for years, and just starting to learn how to get into custom content creation. I have a Sims YouTube channel (that is not active yet). I need to invest in a better computer first. Every time I try to screen record my builds, my computer crashes :upset I'm so excited to start sharing my creations here as I make new stuff and learn new techniques If anyone has good suggestions for PC's that are of good enough gaming and editing quality, but in affordable price ranges, please let me know. I currently own a HP Flyer Red laptop with Intel Pentium N3540 processor, 500 GB HDD, 4 GB RAM, and don't know what specific graphics I have. (I think it's something Intel) but I am looking for something better, preferably a desktop PC Hi, sorry for the late welcome! It's so exciting to hear all the big plans that you have but I'm sorry that your PC has been holding you back. I don't know a lot about good PC specs for what you're looking for, but I do agree that a PC (or Mac, I guess) would be better for that kind of stuff than a laptop. You can try asking for suggestions over in our General Chat section HERE to see if anyone could point you in the right direction. Otherwise, I don't think I'll be able to help you. I do still hope that you take on cc creation if you are able to. I don't know if you're having similar crashing problems with s4s' program, but whenever I'm having issues like that, putting my laptop on airplane mode helps a lot. If you haven't done so already, check out our selection of tutorials HERE to learn the ropes of the program and how to make the cc of your dreams. If you ever need help with a project, you can always ask for help HERE, too! I hope these resources are helpful to you and that you're able to figure out something to do about your computer situation.

I actually found the tutorial list a bit of a hassle as so much is out of date - talking about DDS plug ins etc. Nitty gritty of things we don't need to do any more. I now know it's obsolete, but I didn't when I started.

Hi All
I have been playing the Sims since the beginning and I have loved watching it evolve. I joined the TSR Community so I could participate or ask questions in regards to new custom content. I'm a user of cc but I don't have the first clue on how to create.

Hi All I have been playing the Sims since the beginning and I have loved watching it evolve. I joined the TSR Community so I could participate or ask questions in regards to new custom content. I'm a user of cc but I don't have the first clue on how to create. Welcome! Every single cc creator started out as a cc user, too. If they can do it, so can you! Let me give you some helpful links and pointers to get you started on your cc creating journey! The very first place I recommend you checking out is our list of tutorials HERE. They're a great bouncing off point to learn the ropes of the S4S program as well as other side programs like Blender. While you're working on your project and you run into some issues, you can go HERE to the Creator Help section to see if anyone else has encountered the same problem as you before. If not, feel free to ask yourself! Lastly, when you're happy with a product, consider sharing your creation on this site in our Creator Studio section HERE. Of course, since you'll be continuing to be a cc user, make sure to leave comment and likes on all your favorite creations. A little love goes a long way! I can't wait to see all the amazing things you're planning on making and I hope the process of getting there is as smooth as possible! Good luck!

Hello everyone! I'm Alistair, and I've been playing The Sims for... way too long!
I've hit a bit of a stall in the ultimate question every young adult faces - what are you going to do with your life? I've always been very into computers, and I figure if I learn how to program better than my extremely amateur level, I'll always have something convenient to fall back on even if it's not what I make a full-time career out of in the long-term. Long story short, I thought making (or perhaps trying and failing to make) script mods for TS4 would be a good way to start learning Python. I've admired the CC/mod community for a very long time due to all the cool stuff people have come up with. My game is probably crying over the sheer amount of CC and script mods I have. I have several ideas for mods I'd love to make, some a lot more complex than others. I'm probably starting with my simpler ideas, haha. Currently trying to make a personality trait. I'm unsure if I'm going to try to make any clothing or objects or anything in that category. Might leave that to the more aesthetic individuals among us.
If anyone's got any tips, feel free to send them my way! Otherwise, I look forward to interacting with everyone. There's a good chance I may just lurk, though, as I can be a bit shy. Sorry if that happens.
