Hey all! I played The Sims 1 way back in the day (with soooo many mods haha), and decided to finally check out what the series has grown into over the years! So far, I'm really enjoying it! I don't have much artistic or programming skill, so I'm not sure how much I can really contribute to the community, but we'll see if I come up with anything. Right now I mostly use S4S to peek under the hood of other people's CC and make minor tweaks (only for personal use, of course!) to the tags, the swatch thumbnails, etc. Nothing exciting, but a tidy catalog makes me happy! Unfortunately I do have a bug report to make, but I don't have the ability to post on that thread yet... I'm guessing I need to make a certain number of posts first. Well, here's post number one! Welcome to the community, Seeing as you have already started looking under the hood and making minor tweeks, you have already started your process of becoming a content creator. You should find your knowledge will grow if you keep at it. I regularly check the forums to see if people need help figuring things out and I am sure others are doing the same so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. |

Hello, I am BetaRayquaza (not my actual name, just a consistent username I often use for most things, and don't ask how I originally came up with it, it is a long story), I joined because I wanted to try my hand at modding games. I think that this could really help me in the future, because (one of) my dream job(s) is Software Programming/Game Design. I am actually relatively new to the Sims, starting with Sims 4, and I am finding that I am liking it because it allows me to be a megalomaniacal, yet benevolent overlord in a realistic setting. I also love to create stuff, and so far, I have actually created around 8-12 households, a few of which are based on existing characters (these being the Kenobi, Skywalker, and Team 7 (from Naruto) households). However, I am a complete noob for this sort of thing and have NO clue where to start. If someone could help me, that would be great!

Heya!
My name is Inge. In my free time I love to make 3D block-outs for interiors, often just as a lil' character design exercise (since someone's living spaces can say so much about them) and sometimes as a starting point for a digital 2D piece, but recently I've been playing with the sims4 again and I'd love to make my own CC, which is how I ended up here!
Looking forward to finding my way around creating my own assets for the game!

Hi! It's nice to meet you all. I just got into making CC and this is the tool that everyone uses, so I'm trying it out. I don't have a site yet but I'm currently setting one up. I plan to make poses, likely a little bit of clothing and objects too, and I'm interested in creating mods. I started playing the game with TS4 a few years ago (I think it was some time in 2017?), and got into TS3 around a year ago.

Hi everyone! Made the account 5 years ago, finally decided to use it. Huge fan of the game - I like storytelling, buildings, challenges, but most of all... I like new CC. My computer might die at any point, but it's worth it. I share my sims with my mom (who only does builds) and my sister (who only does challenges). I have recolored objects on my own, for private use, and I swear one day I will figure out blender. nice to meet everyone! |

Всем привет, меня зовут Лиза,первоначально научилась работать с перекраской предметов,сейчас заинтересована в создании модов, и тут я впала в ступор куда писать по этому вопросу.
Хочу попробовать создать фамильяра,нашла автора программы через которую якобы можно его создать, но мне совсем непонятна инструкция как пользоваться и все такое, может ли кто помочь мне с этим?

I've been playing since the 90's ^.^ those were the good days. i love me some sims 4, i make simple content. i strive to learn more about the inner workings of this game. i also wish to learn how to Mod on a more intricate level IE: hairs & more involved clothing, shoes. i would love it if someone could teach me about the significance of weights and bones. feel free to give me feedback or mini lessons
