Sims 2 was a big part of my childhood and holds a special place in my heart. I'll return to play it every now and again especially when Sims 4 is being disappointing. If you're here to make cc, I have a couple of links to share with you. You can find our list of tutorials HERE, you can seek help on a cc project you're working on HERE and you can post your creations by making a Creator Studio HERE. Of course, you aren't required to be a cc creator in order to use this site or the program. In fact, there's a whole list of tutorials on how to use S4S in ways beyond cc creation HERE. There wouldn't be much of a community if there were only cc creators and no one to enjoy their work. Hi The system to make doors and windows just changed, so there are no tutorial at the moment to how to make them. I'm waiting for Andrew's batch fix to see if I understood things right because results are still messy, and intend to do one after everything it's sorted out |

Hi, I am Jeff... I am totally alien to this thread stuff... been playing and building since 2 went away, mastered 3, then 4 came out. Now Im working on 4 and I hear 5 is in the works..  I am more of a builder and a creator than a "player"... but that's fun too. I'm sending my jungle adventurer and his Archeologist wife on a deep jungle outing, Now both professional photographers, to gather items and photos for their museum: Museum of Selvadorada. I looked up how to make the photos into museum art and hangings.. came up with S4S. Just what I need.. no more downloading CC, I'll just make my own... after I figure out how. Any tips would be greatly appreciated... using these forums tips as well.. see you soon. ciao. |

Hello everyone!
I'm Blambodee, I just started playing sims 4 2 days ago and I'm already loving it. I loved Sims 3, but it got too slow to the point of no saving, literally, so i can no longer enjoy it.
I used to use lots of cc for sims 3 as well, but never really make anything myself. Seeing all the wonderful people creating such intuitive and easy to use tools here making me wanna make things by myself too!

Hello, everyone. I'm a fledgling modder who probably has more ambition than sense, particularly when it comes to modding my game to my liking (Do you know how many anachronistic world objects litter the background of Strangerville? It's staggering.). While Blender still baffles me, and I therefore am in awe of all creators of Build/Buy and CAS CC, S4S is much more my speed. I enjoy poking around tuning files and using the My CC Tool to more easily browse the ludicrous amount of CC that I've binge-downloaded. The Sims 4 has really helped me begin to get back in touch with my creativity, and I'm grateful to this forum for providing so much guidance to the benefit of new modders like me, the devs for creating such an accessible tool, and creators for enhancing the game and showing us all what is possible.

Hi, I'm still fairly new to playing The Sims 4. I'd seen examples of Custom Content that were made for The Sims 2, 3 & 4 online at times when looking up reference pictures of favorite STAR WARS alien species. Then saw that Journey To Batuu was coming out, which I could tell makes for a fun way to kind of preview going to Galaxy's Edge. So my boyfriend, who's also a STAR WARS Fan, bought himself & I copies of both the base game and Journey To Batuu game pack. An awesome guy, right? For the past month, I'd been mostly working on houses & buildings for my Sims; as well as eventually started getting STAR WARS-related Custom Content, and Custom Content that I thought would look good fashion-wise/decorating/building/etc.
I just recently found some examples of recolors [and in some cases, retextures] of the Batuu fashions, although not always what would fit in with the STAR WARS galaxy. Which led me to wondering either if I could find a fellow STAR WARS fan that also makes Custom Content for The Sims 4 to share my ideas with or make requests with; or if I should find out more about making my own Custom Content.
I want to keep the original textures of the Batuu outfit pieces, just add new color options to the list or make standalone versions with more color options, not overwrite the originals.
