Hi! I just joined a few days ago and I'm excited to be here! I'll probably mostly lurk and download a bunch of CC. Maybe some day I'll work up the courage to try and make my own stuff!

Hi all
My name is Anita and I live in Dunstable, England.
I have been playing the sims from sims 2 and sims 3 and now sims 4, In my free time I like to play the sims and have over the last few month been brushing up with doing builds and trying to improve on them, I have done some builds that you can find under my ID SimsBewitched on the gallery. Also just lately I have done a few speed builds for the shell challenge which are also on the gallery and on my blogger which is calamitysims.blogspot, com
I have also just started doing a youtube challenge which has the shell challenge videos so far, not sure how to put a link to that as yet still learning how to do stuff on you tube.
But just recently I have been wanting to learn how to make custom content and make stuff for the sims 4 in my spare time. Which is not a lot as i work full time as fish monger in a supermarket.
that's all from me for now

Hi all
My name is Pam, I live in Missouri.
I am an old time sims player, started with sims 1 all the way through sims 4. I was modding for sims 2 up until my pc crashed and lost my paint program. Have never tried modding for sims 4, not sure if I will, but I do like learning new things. So you never know! :D I do love putting my old brain to new challenges and what better place to learn then here! I would love to teach the skill to my granddaughters one day also, they both love playing the sims. Thanks to grandma! LOL
I also want to take this time to thank all the creators here for the help you give, all the work you put in to create some of the wonderful content you bring to us, and for keeping the game playable through all the updates you give us! It is so much appreciated!!!

Hello!
My name is Sophie. I'm 20 years old, live in the United States, live with my girlfriend, and I'm currently learning how to make Custom Content for the Sims 4 as well as writing Sims 4 stories on my Tumblr blog. I've only made two Custom Content pieces: a sonic tank top for women and a recolor of a dress for toddler girls. I'm hoping to put them on this.
I've always been a huge fan of the Sims. Back in 2007, I played the Sims 2 and that was my first game. I played the Sims and the Sims 2 often and also had the Sims Bustin' Out and the Sims 2 Pets for the GBA. Before I had a gameboy, I used to sneak my Aunt's gameboy and play it without permission. Obviously, I'd get in trouble, so it was good I got my own gameboy to play it on.
I have a lot of goals for this forum. I'm hoping to learn to mesh, edit, recolor, and post cc clothes and also dabble in making build mode objects as well. Thank you for having a place like this for people to get together and learn how to make cc.

Hi everyone! I have been studying Blender specifically so I can make CC for Sims 4. It has been a very rocky and difficult path. But I have learned how to model based on importing the mesh of a CAS from Sims 4 Studio. However, I wanted to ask you guys, would any experts out there be available for tutoring over Zoom (or any video client)? I am trying to get to the UV map part and honestly I'm just so tired of things being difficult all the time. I want to make this clothing so much, but I feel like what I need to know will take me weeks and weeks to learn, where if I had a tutor it would take 1/10th of the time. I am happy to pay for this as well! I hope it's ok to ask this here. If not my apologies. I am just at my wits end and just need a break and for things to get easier. If anyone is interested or knows where I can find a tutor, I would be so very grateful! Thank you, and I look forward to interacting with this community more! I am so super excited to start making CC, it's been a dream of mine since last winter. Welcome! Sorry for the late reply. It's good to hear that you are working hard to learn how to make cc even though it is an uphill battle. As for your tutoring request, you made the right call in asking for help in a separate forum. I don't know how many cc creators would actually be willing to do that, but I do hope you manage to find someone eventually. You also seem to be doing a good job at asking for help in the creator help sections. For now, all I can point you towards is our list of tutorials HERE and that creator help section. You can also try watching tutorials on youtube for visual aid. Even though it'll take a bit to get the hang of things, I'm confident that you'll eventually figure everything out. Good luck with your future projects and happy simming! Hi! I just joined a few days ago and I'm excited to be here! I'll probably mostly lurk and download a bunch of CC. Maybe some day I'll work up the courage to try and make my own stuff! Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. There's absolutely no pressure on your end to make anything. If the sims community was only made up of creators, we would barely have a community at all. That being said, you can always check out our list of tutorials HERE if you want to give cc creation a shot. There's a wide selection of things you can try from recoloring, to meshing, to modding! Once you're working on a project and need some help, you can go HERE and see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue to the one you're experiencing. If not, ask away! The staff over there are super helpful! Once you're finished with something you're proud of, consider sharing it with the site by opening up a Creator Studio HERE! Even if you do end up deciding not to make cc, always be sure to leave nice comments and give a thumbs up to your favorite creator's creations! It can really make someone's day! Happy simming!

Sorry for the late reply. I love all those pets you've made! The tools that they added for pets really are amazing though its a shame they couldn't have added those things for regular CAS. It's also great to hear that you're interested in modding! If you haven't done so already, check out our list of tutorials HERE! They do a great job at helping you learn the ropes of the program as well as other programs like Blender! Additional modding tutorials can be found elsewhere like on Mod the Sims' site. With the help of Sims 4 Studio, making cc can be pretty easy once you know what you're doing! If you haven't done so already, check out our list of tutorials HERE! Hey everyone, I'm Bee. I'm hoping to get back into the sims community after my recent hiatus (of several years) and share some amateur stories and my builds, maybe do some custom builds again as well. I've played the sims franchise since 2004, but really dove in at Sims 3. I had it loaded to the core with CC and burned through two laptops (sorry mom), so now I try to build with minimal CC while still not hating everything. It's working out fairly well. I enjoy sharing houses that are functional for actual sim lifestyles' and include real life charm. My main play in TS4 is a 100 Baby Challenge that I've been playing through/building up the world. I have a tumblr that I'm looking to revamp and follow active simblrs, if anyone has one & they'd like to be mutuals! Looking forward to meeting the community! Peace!

Hi, I'm Aaron! I'm from Portland, OR.
I'm an obsessive cc collector who mostly just likes building houses! Since buying Sims 4, I have created exactly one Sim; he looks just like me and is paused at all times, except when I need him to turn off a light or start a fire.
I'm mostly a lurker, so you may not see too much of me, but I wanted to express my deep appreciation for everything the devs here do- the game wouldn't be half as much fun without you or the creators you enable.
