I saw this morning that santa has brought me Alice 0.3 !!! thx . I am a creator of new objects, I know we will have to wait longer but when I see the progress of s4s every week, I get very happy . I can not participate in the forum because I do not speak English (I speak español) and my google translator is crazy, sorry, but he knows how to say Thank you Very Much and Happy New Year for the team s4s.

Hello I am known as simtastic72 in the Simming world. I played mostly Sims2 (never got 3,lol) and created mostly lots and recolors of objects and clothing. I recently got Sims 4 for Christmas and am looking forward to learning how to create for it as well as learn the game since its drastically different from TS2. Having 3 may have helped, but it will be a fun process I am sure!
I am a 42 year old healthcare professional, married for 22years(today!) and have no human chidren but have 5 furbabies Buddy and Izzy(dogs, mini dachshunds) and Roo, Mojo and Socks(cats). I am very friendly and love to chat so feel free to talk to me if you wish!

Hi everyone, I'm Martine, 25 years old, Nutrition and Dietetics student and I live in London. I've been playing The Sims since TS1 and while I have been an avid builder and decorator since TS2, I've never really got into creating custom content, but I want to change that with TS4! I have a little bit of experience with recolouring (and general troubleshooting), but creating objects is something entirely new to me. You can find me on Tumblr

Hello everyone, Name's ajoya. I've been playing Sims since the franchise began. I didn't start creating cc until Sims 2. I went crazy creating everything everywhere from the living sims forum, TSR, my own website, to GOS. Then when TS3 came out, I had to minimize my creating down to portrait and clothing recolors due to lack of skills. I just couldn't get those darn RGB's and alphas down pack. TS4? Oh man do I love it! I know about the gripe in the community but TS4 brings me back to TS2 days. Which was my favorite era because of the easy creating aspect of things for me. TS4 is now my ultimate favorite of all time, hands down. I never like the fugly faces to began with and I wasn't really a pose pack type of gal, so I don't miss it at all. (Except for the clutter!) Which brings me here. I absolutely LOVE what you guys & gals are doing here for the TS4 community! I salute you. I made it a point today to get a grasp on cc'ing for TS4 and with your easy breezy tutorials. I segued right back into creating. I adore the S4S. So far I've created: The Hubster's tattoos, my tattoo, some bedding, curtains, and a few picture frames. All in a days work. I couldn't have done it without you. I feel that the studio is the best creation platform since bodyshop. It's very simple to use. My goal for this New Year is to learn how to mesh. I had 3dsmax in college way back in 2009 and unfortunately, forgot the "just" of everything. I have high hopes to learn it here. Aside from my simming life, which you can very well see is extremely existent. I am a stay-at-home mother of two toddler boys (1 & 4 years of age.) I relocated 3 months ago from the beautiful state of Texas to the brisk cold of Wisconsin for the Hubster's job. I studied multi-media design in college, and own an etsy shop on the side. In my spare time, I enjoy: Cooking, Crafting, Design, Fresh Coffee, Gel Nail Polish, and Random Acts of Kindness. Oh, and I must mention that I'm a DIY'er at heart. If they don't have it. I WILL build it!

Hi ajoya, it's really great to meet you and I'm so pleased you're finding S4S easy to work with. We have a little used Forum for posting pictures of your creations, Sims, home designs, and really, anything else for the game. It would be great to get a peek at what creators here are working on If you're interested in getting started with meshing I wrote a start to finish tutorial that goes over how to make a set of earrings. Although I wrote it using Blender I think that a lot of it would translate fairly well for 3ds max also.

Thank you kindly. Headed that way now! p.s. Does the new Alice 2.1.0.8 work for Blender 2.72? S4S keeps asking me to downgrade.

S4S requires Blender 2.70. The reason is because Blender updates quite frequently and when it does it often breaks addons for it. Rather than constantly rebuilding the wheel to fix things Blender updates break the team is focused on continually upgrading Studio with new features and user-interface improvements. If you prefer to use the newer version of Blender you can run 2.70 out of a folder and just set the path for Studio to that.
