Hi, my name is Bee, and I want to learn how to create for ts4. I have a friend who was helping me, but I got frustrated and quit, because I need to learn how to work photoshop. Anyway, Ive been playing sims since the age of 12, when sims 2 came out, and what I mainly like to do is think of projects to do with the game. Im currently working on am magazine, and building a Modeling Agency in ts4. I would love to collab with others, but I can never find anyone who wants to :(. But hi, nice to meet everyone.

(That reminds me of how I just posted again in this forum, because I forgot I posted before, but after these comments, you can remove this thread)

Welcome to the Studio forums Octaviafangs Hi beenymph, welcome to Studio forums. Brujah made a really nice video tutorial showing how to use Photoshop for recoloring things for Sims 4. It's in the tutorials section and it may be of help to you.

I'm AngelCocoa, I've been playing since Sims 2, and I don't exactly remember how long that would have been. I'm 13 years old, nearly 14. I can also be known as Hangukobsessiongirl193, but I prefer AngelCocoa. If you couldn't tell, I am a fan of korean music. I am still trying to figure out sims 4 studio, having some issues with it, kinda, but it's really confusing ahaha. Nice to meet you all!

Hi AngelCocoa, welcome to Studio forums. If you have questions about how to get started with Sims 4 Studio you might find the tutorial section here helpful. Also, if you have questions about a specific project you're working on the Creator help section is a good place to post them.

Hey guys, I'm SugarRave :D
I'm relatively new to the sims (started playing officially with TS3) and to custom content creation, although I've been using Sims 4 Studio to make a few items for myself and I'm pretty happy with it thus far. On the professional front I have an advanced diploma in Graphic Design and am working on a fast track digital animation course that'll (hopefully) wrap up in the new year when I'm done my field placement. I've been mucking around with Photoshop for a while and I'm hoping that knowledge will serve me well over the span of the series.
I'm still missing CASt dearly but at the same time I love that there's an easy way to create custom content now, hopefully I can start making custom objects soon, I was always jealous of the TS3 creators who had access to milkshape and could make as much as they wanted

Hi sugarrave, welcome to Studio forums...it's great to meet you. Milkshape is a 30 dollar 3D editor that has very limited capabilities and hasn't updated in at least 4 years..it is very out of date in terms of meshing for 3D games. I don't think it's supported anymore either. I started meshing with MS but it couldn't do the things I needed from a 3D editor for game meshing so I had to find something better. Luckily I found Blender. If you have not yet started working with a 3D editor you are much better off getting started using Blender. Not only is it a far more powerful tool, it is free and fully supported. It is updated frequently and has the ability to meet the demands of current game meshing requirements. This is the 3D editor I switched to and I am very glad I did. It's just plain easier to make what you want with it.

Hello all! I'm Mamie also from BPS and have been playing this game since Sims 1. I started recoloring objects in 2009 for Sims 2, although I bought the Sims 3 game I just was not interested....just was not ready to move on. I have moved on to Sims 4 and am glad I found this site of wonderful folks who are creating these wonderful tools and providing support for all of us Sims lovers. I have already done some recolors using the tool you all created, have a look here: www.blackpearlsims.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=341Thank you for all you do!
