Hello, I'm JayCrane I used to make CC for The Sims 2 - dabbling in making retextures of cosmetics and clothing. But I stopped as I wanted to try my hand at making content for other games. Now, I am a Skyrim Modder, you can find my content over at my blog, but I want to get back into making CC for Sims. Or in this case, start making CC for The Sims 4. For the moment, I am busy with projects for Skyrim but I hope to get some things published for The Sims later on! Pleasure to meet you all at The Sims 4 Studio forums. :D

Hello,
I am a old woman, married and I live with my dog. I started to create objects for the sims 2 (especially food ) that I put on modthesims (bibidoublezero).
I stopped to play sims for a few years for medical reasons because I am still handicaped with a very poor health. I cannot get out of my house practically any more, except to go to the hospital or see my doctors (I look like more a ghost than a human). For the moment, my health is pretty much stabilized. This is why I have time to play and create objects for sims. It gives a little of sense to my life, because I feel useless.
English is not my native language, and, with all the medicine which I have to take, I am slower than before my diseases, I often ask stupid questions ... Than sorry for all my faults

Hi JayCrane, welcome to Studio forums...it's great to meet you. I'm glad you're thinking of making things for Sims 4...it definitely can use more cosmetics and clothes! Hi bibidoublezero, welcome to Studio forums...it's great to have you here I'm sorry to read that you have severe medical problems but it's good that things are stabilized now. Don't worry about asking questions...making things for the Sims can be tricky and if you're wondering something almost certainly other people are too so it's good to get that question out there and answered

I understand the feeling! Can't wait to see your creations dearie!

Hi there! I'm violetpumpkin also known as UltraVioletPumpkin on Tumblr. I'm from Canada. I play mostly Sims 4 a little Sims 3. I'm Sims 4 tech help and admin in a FB group. =) I'm starting out with re-colouring. I would love to create my own meshes and have no clue what I'm doing. A little lost on that so I will read many tutorials. =) I hope you're all having a great day! I'm also curious if S4S 2.5.1.6(Joy) will be updating for Sims 4 Cool Kitchen?

Thank you for your support and understanding. It is true that Sims helped me very much when I had this very serious health problem that changed my life. I went from living a very active woman to that of the shadow of my phantom future. So to create things and make myself useful to others helped me a lot. But, I had other serious health problems since, and when I say stable, it is because in my state, now, medicine can not do anything. It may just relieve my enormous pain and try to avoid me sudden death. I start creating, but I realized that I have to begin again everything, learn again to use Blender etc. For now, I have multiple ongoing projects advancing slowly. I do not want just making recolors, so I try to create news things. I grew a little every day, but for now, nothing is finalized. I have more difficulty with clothing than with new objects, I break my neurons on these clothes to try to understand some of the subtleties that escape me. Hopefully soon I can finish my current projects and put into free shares to make others for you . (I think I'm going to need the help of orangemitten (or anyone else) because I meet small color problems (I think it must be a light setting to be changed, but I'm not sure)

Hi all. I'm Sam and I'm from Australia. A jack of all trades and master of none I spend my time between family, housework, study, art, volunteering and gaming. I've been a simmer from the beginning and a long time hoarder of CC from all over but this is my first step into joining the sims creating community, well any Sims community in fact. I have a brand new tumblr over here and I've been tinkering with Sims 4 Studio for a few days now. I never thought I would ever find myself creating for the Sims, I've always been content to let others have all the fun but I think I am hooked now!

bibidoublezero, clothes in Sims 4 are probably one of the more difficult projects to undertake. People working on CAS meshing have started to get the creation of custom second UV's going but that's an ongoing project. Right now it works well for hair but only a few people have done them for brand new meshes that aren't hair. Keep at it. You aren't alone in having neurons broken by the Sims 4 garment issues. Hi infinitesky, welcome to Studio forums...it's great to meet you! I'm so happy to hear you're getting into making your own content for Sims 4. It's super fun. If you run into questions feel free to post in the Creator help section and I'd love to see what you're making. If you want to share pictures or links we have sections for that too
