I've never noticed this before. But at this dress has a weird shadow appearing on floor and only inside rooms. Outside houses, it's normal. I thought that could be because the dress was too close to the floor. But I raised it up and it's still showing this shadow. I've already redone all steps and still appear the same shadow. But only indoors, even when lights are off. The weird thing is when I broke 1 wall, the shadow disappear. But with all walls the shadow come back. I've never seen that shadow before and I've just finished another dress and it's with the same issue. I'm getting crazy! I was trying other outfits and old long dresses that used to be perfect, and they now have this weird shadow too. Even other creator's dresses. I've tested some old dresses from Jomsims. I've tried dresses that I've done a month ago and was working perfectly and now they also have this shadow. One friend tested my dress at her game and remain with the same problem. But talking to mauvemorn , he tested at his game and it's without this shadow. He tells me that he didn't update his game since University. With that in my mind I'm thinking that this shadow is probably caused by something at my game.. or any update. Even without all ccs and only with 1 dress, it appears. The problem appears at almost all long dresses. Anybody knows how to fix it? Or if has a some way to delete the shadows that ambient lights cause on dresses?

UPDATE: When I put the lights graphic at game's option at "low" the shadow disappears! I'll play like that until I have a definitive solution

I haven't worked with clothing meshes yet but looks like your shadow plane needs to be enlarged? I think that's cut 0 if clothes follow the same logic as buildbuy meshes. The shadow is getting cut off on the edges of the shadow mesh plane, not sure if there's a maximum size they can be.

Try setting graphics settings to Ultra and checking if the issue remains. If yes, it may be the shadows-related setting

I haven't done any clothes meshing yet, just objects so I assumed clothes worked the same way.

Hi, Two years later, I have the same problem. Do some of you know what cause this weird shadow? Thanks ♥ I still have had the same problem since 2020 lol In this meanwhile I've changed graphic card twice, format my computer and always this shadow comes for me lol My graphics settings are on Ultra and I do not use laptop mode. But I've already tried with it and nothing changed.. the only thing that works is to put the lights graphic at the game's option at "low", but I prefer to see the shadow than have bad lighting.

I think this is a problem with how the game is programmed (or rather not programmed at all to deal with very puffy dresses or the ones with transparency). You could report this issue to ts4 developers but they will probably ignore it because this is cc. I can be wrong but i think we cannot control what type of shadow the garment will throw on the ground, so this is probably auto-generated
