I'm trying to make sims 4 renders, but I can't even get the rig in blender! I exported the s4s model correctly as far as I know (I'll link the tutorial I tried to follow) but it doesn't seem to show up in blender when i open the file. Is there something I'm doing wrong? My blender is 2.7.9 S4S 3.1.3.2

Use either 2.76 or 2.70 version of Blender as a bridge. I have the same issue with everything over 2.76.

Check your settings, the path to .blender.exe. Delete Documents/Sims 4 Studio folder and let the program to generate a new one. S4S has been tested by thousands users, it works with correct settings.

I'm having this problem with the newest blender and newest s4s. This s4s forum has said it's compatible before. The exe is correct as far as I know, so I'm not sure

The exe is correct as far as I know, so I'm not sure There is a bug in the plugin that prevents it from accepting blender 4.0.x specifically, so you need to use either 4.1 or 3.6. 4.1 is still in the stage of development, so it’s best to use 3.6

I can't get the bones or rig to appear in the editing window. The model tree shows them as present and that they SHOULD be visible, but for some reason they aren't. I've tried looking at a bunch of different tutorials but none of them address how to make the bones appear. Does anyone know why that is?

The rig is in the outliner, but when you try to make it visible, it does not appear? if yes: - make sure you have s4s beta; - get blender 3.6, not 4; - change blender path in s4s settings to blender.exe in blender 3.6 installation folder specifically; - export the blend file again and open it in blender 3.6
