I'm trying to convert the Selene's Sanctuary double bed into a single bed (inspired by this mod). I've created a mesh, but I need help with tuning, as well as properly importing it to Sims 4 Studio (will I need to create an entirely new package, and if so, how?).
Any ideas from people who are more experienced with creating custom content? I'll post screenshots later if necessary.

I haven't done much with meshes for Build Mode personally but have you tried taking a pre-existing single bed that is similar and replacing it with yours using the 'Create 3D Mesh' option under objects in S4S?
It would be a good starting point. If you choose a single bed in there as a base it should have all the tuning there for you so you will only need to worry about importing the mesh and getting the textures to work.
You will have to make sure that your mesh lines up with the one you are replacing in blender, (it is best to keep the bedding and only replace the frame as it will have rigging attached to it) and will need to understand about UV mapping.
I am not sure if 'Create 3D Mesh' would assign unique IDs to your tuning, because if it doesn't it would cause your object to replace a pre-existing one, but if this occurs I should be able to walk you through reassigning these.

My advice, clone a single bed, renumbering option, then import your mesh and texture into it - all the tunings for single bed are already there
