I'm seeing this a lot more and since I was trying to clean-up my mods, I suddenly asked myself a question I wasn't sure of. This may seem like a stupid question, but my base knowledge confidence level dropped significantly. I think I've been in quarantine too long! If a creator has 3 packages for one mod, but each package has a pack number, etc., do I need them all? I understand BG means Basic Game, but when I see BG, another with GP01, and another with Vampire, do I download all of them? Does each package address objects within that specific pack? I have all the expansions, game packs, stuff packs, so if the creator lists packages separately with this info do I need them all? Or do I just choose the package of the most recent EA release?

Creators release certain items/mods, mostly CC, in separate packages because not everyone owns all the packs. Honestly, the best thing to do is track down the download page and re-read the instructions as that is the only thing that can truly help you. Otherwise all you can do is guess as to what's needed or not. Normally though, if you own everything you keep all the files. If you don't you delete what you don't own. I've rarely ran into cases where you had to choose Vampires vs BG, etc.

Thank you for your response. I always read the descriptions but they don't always say "choose one." I've been downloading all the files if the creator doesn't specify, since I have all the extras I guess I'm doing it right then. Thanks again!
