am i allowed to ask a question like this on here? i'm not really sure where to go, i figured here is the best because this relates specifically to the models S4S creates, and photoshop forums might not know how these work.... my problem is: i can see the texture in the menu, but if i try to open the texture it opens a blank file.. there are also tons of diffuseMaps, i'm guessing these are all of the texture maps for my model how the heck do i do this? i'm looking at it in 3d so i can check the placement of some things, since i did move some UVs around to make room for stuff like...coat tails, bowties... this is how it shows up in photoshop, unlit texture, i've even tried replacing the texture with something new but nothing happens and the texture when opened stays blank. this isn't required for my mod but..it would be a big help >_< if anyone knows what's happening here, please let me know! also if this is not suited for this forum i will take it down

First of all, make sure you don't have extra punctuation in the files. Could be the file is trying to open as .003 instead of .png, and I'm not entirely sure what a .psb file is, so that could be an issue, too. It's not showing the whole texture, so it's reading something wrong. PNG files should be quite straightforward to open.
If you have the texture as a plain png file, have you tried to just drop it into the Photoshop window? Or are you trying to add it to the 3D window? (In which case I have no idea, because I don't think I have that version of photoshop - I use other programs for 3D viewing textures).

to be able to work with your mesh's texture real-time in photoshop, delete everything in your workspace except for your mesh... like so: select your mesh (begins with s4studio_mesh ) and press file > export > obj a menu should come up where you save the file location and name... on the left side there are some options to export make it look like this :D then open your obj in blender ( this tutorial is excellent for showing how to do this )replace the texture with the texture you want by the way you can export the textures from your mesh in the uv section if you go here:

You don't actually need to delete everything unnecessary in the scene, checking Selection only should be enough. It is meant to export only the selected 3d model
