After the last Windows Update, I think two days ago now I have a massive issue with S4S Studio I did reinstall it and set it up new but the message remains. "Unable to find the Sims 4" Please configure your Game Path."It's set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\ I did not change anything. If I enter the area for CAS Items the Body-Mesh dissapears. - Game is patched up to the latest Update.
- Using the latest Version of S4S Studio 3.1.3.3
When I try to reconnect to the same folder as mentioned above, it tells me: An error has occured, please report this. Thanks! .Is there a workaround for Window Users? I have seen only posts for MAC Users. Sorry for posting here I tried to post in the Bugs & Report Area but seems like I cannot report the issue I have there. There is no button to create a post! I wonder how others can post? Do you need a specific level to report a bug? Would be strange if so! Thanks again for help and feedback, much appreciated!

You need a certain amount of posts to post there, I believe it is 40.
When you uninstalled, did you delete any leftover folders too? Try that. It could also be that your antivirus, firewall, etc. is protecting the folder and keeping you from accessing it with S4S, or blocking S4S in general.

...It could also be that your antivirus, firewall, etc. is protecting the folder and keeping you from accessing it with S4S, or blocking S4S in general. ..if this is the case then right click on the s4s shortcut/application icon and then click "run as administrator". This will solve any window issues..

So the game files are in Origin/Games/Sims 4. That's your Sims 4 path box. The one under your creator name. So, if done correct, and you go to that file you will see all the game packs you have installed.
But your mods are not in with the game files. That gets set to your Owner\Sims 4\Documents folder. If done correctly, and you ho to that file, you will find your MODS folder.I have mine set to C\:Users\Owners\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4.
Origin uses the Programs (x86) file for technical stuff. Don't use that one.
In S4S the path box takes you to your game pack list. The Documents folder takes you to your actual mods.
Hope this helps?

Okay, but the thing is I didn't change any paths myself everything what I use is set by default. I never changed that and never encountered such issuses before. The only thing I did because suddenly out of nowhere this message popped up and I assumed it had something to do with the last Windows-Update was that I did reinstall removed all leftovers and installed S4S fresh. Before the update it worked and I never had this issue before. The path is set by default to this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\ I never changed that path??? If I do try to reconnect to this same folder it tells me to report it! S4S keeps telling me that it cannot find the game! I do understand the meaning of the other folders but issue remains the Sim-Body Mesh is not showing up in S4S and now I have a black Plumbob in game. I think the S4S is causing this issue because I added some content which I opened first with S4S Studio and this message is keep showing up every time now when I open it. Sadly it didn't help... oh boy... :cry

Re-installed it again and tried to set it up with considering your suggestions... but gosh I hate it the issue is persistent! Thanks guys for the try to help me... I don't know what else I can do!

I just checked the post you linked and I tried to repair the game and this worked! Thank you so much for the hint! Just still don't get it why it happened? LOL But whatever, it works again and the black Plumbob is gone, too! You're a gem!
