Hello, I'm quite a noob around here, tried to look for a response that worked for me but sadly nothing worked. I downloaded a bunch of skin details and they all sit on the same slot - I wanted to change some to "sit" on another slot (freckles), did it with Sims 4 Studio and made sure all the swatches were on the same category. When I open the game it's like it doesn't exist at all and only the original files show up (I kept them, I want the freckles to show on a few categories. What do I do? Please help!

You can't just copy, paste, rename, and switch the categories. You need to clone the original files in S4S to create a new file, then switch the category. This will create new instances for your files and they will no longer conflict, because right now they have the same instances and that's why only the originals show up.

Thank you for your answer. As far as I can tell, I need to use "Create new 3D mesh" - I try doing that, but it won't show up CC even when I choose "Custom". What do I do? I understand this is the only way for it to work.
