I have been trying to tune the telesplosion functionalities on the Get Together DJ booths, because the developers really removed a lot of freedom from using this capability effectively in Nightclub community lots without mods.
So far, I have been able to make make a mod which allows any player to enable telesplosion on a DJ booth which has these capabilities, even if you aren't playing on the booth. I have also made an override of the DJ booths in the game so that the telesplosion is automatically completed when you purchase the booths, since there is a problem with DJ booths not even being capable of a telesplosion upgrade when placed on community lots.
The last thing I am wanting to do is modify the DJ booths so that telesplosion automatically is enabled whenever a DJ starts playing on a booth and disabled when they stop playing. I have tried to change the state of the booths in object tuning so that it's automatically enabled when no one is playing on the booth, but this causes a problem because whenever a sim stops playing on the booth, the telesplosion continues on the nearby TV screens.
I have deduced that I may be able to get my desired modification either by doing broadcaster tuning for the DJ Booth Telesplosion or by doing object tuning in a different way.
In the object tuning code (posted below), I have tried modifying the Telesplosion On/Off default state to "Telesplosion On", and what this does is ensures that Telesplosion works automatically the first time the DJ plays on a booth, but it never works automatically after that.
I am wondering if changing the section of code can do some kind of reset after a sim plays the DJ booth, so that it is enabled automatically the next time a sim plays the booth?
In the broadcaster tuning for the DJ Booth Telesplosion, I was thinking of somehow modifying the ""state_change_on_enter" code; however, my intuition is telling me that this will only change the state of the broadcasting when you "enter" Telesplosion mode, rather than when a DJ "enters" the playing of the DJ booth.
Any help in understanding whether or not this type of modification is even possible would be greatly appreciated!
