Okay so a little backstory. The 3D create a sim room i'm trying to add shadowing effects to is brujah's ts3 to ts4 3d create a sim room conversion found here: sims4studio.com/thread/2263/brujahs-studio (scroll down a bit.)
There are no shadows in this create a sim background, at all. And while I love the sims 3 create a sim background for many reasons, the shadows were the cherry on top for me. Without them, the background looks very flat in my opinion and the shadows added depth.
here's a visual representation of what i'm saying.

a snapshot from my sims 4 game of one of my recolors of brujah's conversion (peep the lack of any shadows at all):
I really need some help, even if it's you just telling me it's not possible. Though I believe it is even if the shadows aren't completely 100% accurate to the shadows in the sims 3 version. Here's a snapshot of another 3D create a sim background I stumbled upon for the sims 4 in my game and it has shadows galore:
Anyways, could I please get some help? This problem is like an itch I can't scratch.
And while i absolutely adore this creation and have made many many MANY recolors of it to fit my taste, there's one thing missing that was present in the sims 3 version of this create a sim background. Shadowing effects!

this may seem like a small problem to a lot of you but it's a huge one for me because again, the background lacks depth.
Also because TS3 barely runs on my laptop (despite it being a gaming laptop) and I'm trying to get the most sims 3 feeling possible in TS4 create a sim, because as someone who loves making sims, i spend a lot of time in CAS.
I've tried taking the ceiling off of brujah's mesh in blender (which is something a tumblr creator suggested to me.) didn't work. I've tried deleting walls in the mesh, didn't work. I've tried moving the lamps that are apart of the mesh around in blender and changing their settings, didn't work.I really need some help, even if it's you just telling me it's not possible.
