This might be a silly question, but is it possible to open/parse/edit a .package file in a source-code editor? I'd like to make a script to batch edit some cc (namely, changing the display indices), but don't want to have to go through all the files individually in S4S. Or is this perhaps not possible?

The program in question needs to be able to read Sims 4 .package files, so unless it comes with an option to import the needed data, or something similar, then probably not. I'm not as familiar with programs but from what I understand this is the case. S4pe is another Sims 4 packaging program that is open source and should have the data you need to import/reference, if again that is an option in your source-code editor.
