lotharihoe.tumblr.com/post/190181965628/download-sfs-google-drive-patreon-so-this-isThis mod proves it can be modified as it removes the cubemap entirely, but that destroys the appearance of a lot of things (shines on windows and TVs, the fake depth of the new container home walls, the way the ground looks wet when it rains, etc). The cube map texture is HORRIBLE, but it'd be better to just make a higher res replacement than to remove it. But I have no idea where/how to find it.

Just open that mod and copy the instance numbers into Game File Cruiser, add to a new package, extract and adjust, import back in and test.

Oh...wow. I didn't realize there was a game file browser, that was kind of obvious wasn't it lmao
Let's see if I can mimic these files in higher res and get the game to read them!

Alright, I've got all the cube maps in their own pacakge now but I can't seem to get changes to show up in-game. That or I'm missing one. Here's a TV scaled up to give a view of how bad the cube map is. But...the map in the TV doesnt seemt o match any of the ones I've got in my file. I'm also fairly certain this is thes ame one used in windows and it doesn't seem to affect them, either. www.mediafire.com/file/hlavvsrcdhb5ob2/CubemapResolutionBump.package/fileI've modified the largest file to be larger and smoother, but when that didn't take, I added giant black circles to it to make it very clear in-game if anything was changing and it's not. Any ideas? On a second check, I thought maybe this was the small simple square map, so I reduced the noise on that one by a lot, and still no changes in-game...
