PLEASE HELP! I've been trying to make split dye hair recolors by rearranging the uv's and everything and i still can'tget the hang of it, please help!

As long as they're UV-mapped so that one half can be colored in one color and the other half in another color, it shouldn't be a problem. It matters which part of the hair strand/chunk is at the top and which is at the bottom. If it's the wrong way up, you most likely have to turn it 180 degrees. If there is a front and a back to the hair, make sure you're marking and then turning both sides simultaneously, or you'll get different colors on the front and back.
