I am in the unfortunate and embarrassing position of having to ask for help on this, again. The shoe I am working on works looks fine in game, but I can't scale it at all. The vertex paint has colors set to 00FF00. I have done the uv_1 map manually, albeit a bit roughly, because I can't find the instructions on how to transfer it automatically. I know it's out there. I think I did the uv_1 right though. Have a look:

With that texture it kind of looks like you're doing UV_0, but the outlay does look like UV_1.
What are you having problems scaling? THe UVmap (UV_1 or UV_0) or the mesh?

That is indeed the uv_1, instructions say I have to use the body texture when scaling. What I am having trouble with is getting the foot ingame to scale. The handle just doesn't appear when I hover my mouse over the sim's feet in CAS.

Hi. Are you sure it is 00ff00? Did you sample or pasted the hex code? Maybe Face mask was enabled but nothing selected? Share the blend file please

Pretty sure. I manually typed in 00ff00 and pressed set vertex colors. Here is the blend file.

You have two vertex colours, and I'm guessing studio reads the first one, which is just black for this mesh. If you delete that vertex colour ('Col'), it works perfect ingame.

Thanks a bunch! Will pay attention to this next time. I imagine using both blender 2.70 and 2.8 doesn't help.
