Hi! First of all, thanks to anyone willing to help! I much appreciate it. I started my first CC project trying to convert my Destiny 2 Exo head to a supported Sims Studio mesh. I had to break my head around making the model backwards compatible between Blender 2.8 and 2.7, but i eventually did it. I even managed to make the mesh per se, and the .package works with the game, but i have the following problems: 1. the head gets bigger and thinner in a very odd way if i play with the body size. 2. can't wrap (no pun intended) my head around texturing it. I've already followed the tutorials (which I am so thankful for), but some things are just not there. I understand that this might be a bit too difficult to do for a first timer, but I really wanna make it! If you have any suggestion, I'm here to listen. Screenshots below: imgur.com/a/zesxqPIDrive to the .package, blender and some texture files: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GDq5jbJgNrolYMfC_R7cuJCcTQRUHlnp?usp=sharingAgain, thank you so much!

Hi. 1). You do not need to have more than one version of Blender. Everything can be done in 2.76-9; How to transfer weights in 2.76-9: - make sure both your reference and the garment are visible and selectable; - select the reference, Shift-select the garment, switch to Weight paint, choose Transfer weights. Then choose Nearest face interpolated and By Name; - use Clean tool with All groups selected; - use Limit total. This is how to vertex paint 2). The item has no uv_1 map which is what dictates how it will morph in-game during body customization; - unfold rig and make head selectable ( cursor icon ); - select the helmet, create a second uv map, rename both to uv_0 and uv_1; - add Data transfer modifier, set it like this, apply 3). use this template to edit the uv_0. You can take the whole upper half of it 4). clone something that excludes head if this is what you want

Hey! Thanks so much for your reply! I'm so sorry, I thought i had to use Blender 2.70 to make it compatible with Sims 4 Studio... I'll try to follow your (very) detailed instructions and I'll update the thread! Again, thank you!

I'm so sorry, I thought i had to use Blender 2.70 to make it compatible with Sims 4 Studio... This is a common misconception because the authors of the most popular tutorials in the community did that and either never updated or never found out. This is not a mistake per say, just an unnecessary thing

I'm trying to apply the texture to the UV layout but since this looks like an intermediate thing to do, I fear it's a bit too hard for me since I just picked up blender 4 days ago. I'm going to attach my helmet textures, if anyone is ever going to need them and I will have left this project. imgur.com/a/c04gZpy

Hi! So, I've smashed my head on it and actually came up with it! I think it's almost done and I wanna thank you so much for letting me understand how these things work! I'm gonna update the result soon!
