Some people say they been having problems with the Pose Player since since after DU but the Pose player hasn't been updated since GF

It does not have to be updated for every pack. Pose player uses rig (skeleton) system. Nothing has changed in the game to update the pose player. It works perfectly fine in my game and in many other users games.

but some people on the Sims 4 forum broken Mods thread (well the one from June) said the pose pack hasn't been working for awhile

There are always people who have older version of PP in their folder and thinking that they have the newest one. None of them, tried redownloading it and double checking, so we can’t confirm 100% that they used an updated version. People appear, write one post "PP doesn’t work, fix it" and disappear.
