You need to increase the margin on the texture where you mapped 2 parts of the mesh in the same uv space. Right now there is no margin and it causes this visual glitch. Select a few pixels of your texture, copy and move them up a bit.

Yes, you did. You might need to increase the margin even more. When I used the smudge brush in Blender and smudged the edge this glitch has disappeared.
