Hello, I used to use version 3.1.3.3 and today it gave me a message that the version is too old. I downloaded the new version (3.1.3.5) but my computer decided it is a ransomware and wanted to block and I accidentally allowed it. Afterwards I removed the program and re-installed and this time allowed the program. It got installed but won't run it at all (it loads up, stays white and the program just disappears). I deleted it again and tried installing the older version but it doesn't work now just as the newer version. What do I do? Here is a link to how it looks like when the (older version) program tries to work now with no success: imgur.com/mS4Hycn

I deleted it again and tried installing the older version but it doesn't work now just as the newer version. What do I do? Here is a link to how it looks like when the (older version) program tries to work now with no success: imgur.com/mS4HycnWhen you download S4S and this question can or will always pop up due to the fact the software "S4S Studio" won't be recognized by Microsoft because it's not on "their" whitelist (They changed their Heuristic what could be potentially considered as ransomware. Seems like S4Studio has some values which Microsoft since a while potentially sees as Ransomware (due to their Windows-Security Updates). But as you know S4Studio is not ransomware. Simply because you downloaded the software from this site (maybe since years) and you know that this software is trustworthy! You will need it if you want to do whatever you do for your game with S4Studio. Only if you allow it you will be able to continue to use this software. You cannot use older S4Studios if you game is patched up to the latest version because it won't be compatible with the game and well it has to be updated. Especially when EA changes values or whatever they do and the S4Studio-Developer need to update such mess to make it work again, lol. S4Studio Developers always update with the EA patches (whenever it's needed) and therefore you always will need the latest version unless you use an older patched game then you would need an older matching version of S4Studio. This warning can and probably will always pop up from Microsoft. I've seen it myself. But in general it's good that you are careful and if you are unsure if a software is trustworthy you can google and see what you find but here in this case you can download it and allow it because million of other simmers around the globe use it to manage or create content for the Sims 4! I'm highly certain that S4Studio does not contain "ransomware" by our amazing S4Studio Developers or million simmers would not be able to work on their meshes for the game.
