Hi everybody ! I created a Campingaz backpacking stove. But really, It's a fire camp with same interactions. It's impossible to create grill function in my item it's too small for that unfortunately. I think. But I have a problem with the RIG FX function. When I start my backpacking stove the fire is too powerful. I must wait, to obtain a light fire. Could you help me, Please, to start my Campingaz backpacking stove, with the light fire more appropriate.

Hi serinion, I would like to be able to report that I can help, but alas, I managed to make the burner smaller by playing with the slots, but not he flame itself O_o

in Rig xml, the scale Fx function can't to be smaller that 0.0001 I think. and for Grill function the containerslots can't to be smaller that 1 for cooking. It's my humble opinion, I could be wrong, that it is not the end of the world. Well, thanks for trying to achieve the unachievable.

I think to get this working you will have to select a different effect for it or enlarge the stove so that it fits the effect you've added.

I created a old version of camp fire + grill but when my Sims cook ingredients they disappear. I think the Containerslots can't to be smaller that 1,0,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,0,1,0,0,1,0.166999995708466,1 to do the cooking When I changed this scale. Because of the bug when I Export tuning resource object_grillGENPark1x1_01 I can't continued at the moment.

serinion, sorry the bug is holding you up. This will be fixed in the next version of Joy that should be coming out soon.

AH, I just posted a thread about this exactly, I am having the same issue. I'd love someone to tell me how I can do that, I would like to be able to release my pellet stove/fireplace without it looking like it's a fireball because of the fire size. O.o

I've been playing around a little, but no success yet :/ I've given up on reducing the size, and working on just duplicating the fire effect. That's not yet working either, but seems like a possibility. Is there anyone who has effectively duplicated other effects and made them work in game? Is it possible to perhaps import a lighting rig with multiple effects and change them? For example a candle rig

greengirl I tried doing that too but no success either. I ended up giving up on it because I cracked my head trying to figure this out and now I am hoping that maybe when EA comes up with something like tiki torches then maybe we can copy the fire effect and change the tuning to make it work like a fireplace instead. I thought maybe using a candle instead of the fireplace and change the tuning to make my pellet stove act as a fireplace but haven't tried that yet either. I'll keep experimenting with it and see what I can figure out and report back here too.

I've had some success scaling the fire, YAY!!!!! Peacemaker directed me to the scale field in the edit bones screen, you can see my scale is now 3,0.05,0.05. it does appear that the X axis is the one responds to the scaling best though. Comparison pic below (apologies for the crappy quality I've just removed the sweet fx mod from my game :'( )

Wee!! That's awesome, so excited for you! I've tried the scaling on mine to reduce it as well, at 05,05,05 and it went down in size quite a bit, so I am going to try and scaling down more and see how it looks, I will post a screenshot of it if I get it to the right size. I was pretty excited to get it to go that small though, now my stove looks much better not like a huge ridiculous fire ball lol. Hopefully I can get it to work properly and release it sometime soon.
