I’ve been having an issue with cc, but exclusively with stuff I’ve made. I’ve remade them multiple times but this weird skin effect on my sims persists. It only happens when one of the things I’ve made is worn by a sim. In CAS it looks perfectly fine, but in the game.. I have no idea what could be causing it or how to fix it. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Looks like the same issue as here. Make sure you're saving with mipmaps if you're saving as .dds. If that doesn't fix it, could you share the .package file?

I hadn’t originally bothered with mipmaps and they worked fine until recently(the past few months). Before posting here I re-exported the dds files with mipmaps and that didn’t fix it. The files are two tattoo packages and some face paints. When I get home I’ll share the files for other people to look at. I’ve compared them to other people’s tattoo and make up cc and can’t find a significant difference.
-Edit- I've uploaded the package files to google drive here
Some I made more recently, after the problems started (specifically 1 tattoo and 1 "glasses" (just where I have it categorized to show up, created using a blush)). The others (1 tattoo, and what used to be face paints but are now 1 blush, and 2 eyeshadows) were made over a year ago and worked fine then. I hadn't played for a while and started again recently and discovered the issue. There's no meshes since they were made as cas standalone parts from base game tattoos and make up/face paint.
They show up without issue in cas and s4s.

I just tested a couple of the packages for times sake. The tattoo works fine but the blush bugged out like you said, however I was able to fix it - All I did was export the texture as a .png from s4s and re-import that file (as a .png). I'm still pretty sure the issue is because of mipmaps. The fix works because when you import as a .png, s4s converts it into a .dds and generates mipmaps etc. I hope this helps.

I’ll give that a try and see if it works for me. Thanks for your help 😊

Got around to exporting the textures as pngs and reimporting, and it worked. No weird skin effects when I used them in game. Thanks so much for your help!
