- Make sure you put all the CC (files made by you, too) in the proper folder. CC goes in "...Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods"
- Are you sure you have the mesh file (if it's a CC item)? If it is just a recolor, the mesh isn't always included. If the mesh you use is a mesh by someone else, are you sure you have the required EP/SP/GP? If the item was made with an item from an expansion as a base, this pack could be required for the item to show up.
- CC you recolor from ingame will usually be compatible with your game because you already have all the required expansions and such. CC made by others may not be compatible. When downloading, make sure to check any written info, including compatibility, expansion info, patch notes, etc.
If you clone/recolor CC made by someone else, it's not automatically compatible with your game, even if it shows up in Sims4Studio.
- Have you looked under "Formal"?

Are you sure you checked everything? I just tried to put your dress into my Mods folder and it worked perfectly fine. However, the catalog thumbnail for the dress (in CAS) does not show the dress itself. It shows the image you imported as a texture so maybe you are just looking for the wrong thing. You could check if the file is in your game by either removing all your other CC or checking if the file shows up in the pop up that lists all the CC right after you launch TS4.

Okay, so you are playing on Legacy Edition. I assume you have already put your CC in the right folder since you said that everything else shows up correctly. More here: sims4studio.com/post/133568/threadYou mentioned that you used a mesh from the base game I am not entierly sure if Legacy features all the same object or perhaps they have made little changes so maybe you could check if you can find the basic mesh in your game.

I am really starting to run out of ideas with this dress... Maybe Legacy Edition is causing the problem. You said you have put everthing in the right folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods but just to make sure: Did you put it directly into that folder or do you have other sub-folders IN your Mods folder, something like 'my cc'/ 'dresses' or anything else? Because if you do this could cause the problem. More here: answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/SOME-sims-4-cc-won-t-show-up/m-p/7030346/highlight/true#M123306If you really have checked everything I would suggest to try creating other cc using different meshes and see if it works that way.
