Hi, I'm working on a whole Hogwarts functional mod, with professors teaching magic lessons and students learning from those professors, cloning from university EP system (even for the dorms). I'm beginner in modding, just made semi active careers for the moment. Do you have any advice of else for how I should proceed? Thank you  |

I have the process in my head, just need to know how to realize it.
I need to copy the uni system but for children and teens going to Hogwarts school. Is it possible ?

Copying all of EA's system is probably not possible due to all the factors involved (UI, some stuff is probably hardcoded, etc.), but if you can't (worth a try) you can mimic with your own less complex system. I recommend checking this mod that came out before DU: modthesims.info/d/623480/get-to-college-mod-v3.htmlIt's a system made of active careers to mimic going to school. This way you can also attempt active classes for potion brewing, etc, which in my opinion would be cooler than EA's current system. Or, you can attempt to override EA's system to make it available for only children and teens and see what happens.  My recommendation would be to start with checking DU's files to see how it's all connected and what files are involved to make sure you can copy it. Using File Finder from Scumbumbo (same download page as XML Extractor), Notepad++, and a file searching program can speed up the process and let you see how files are connected instead of relying on importing a bunch of files to S4S. |

Hiii ! We are actually working on a Discord server !
To resume, for the moment we have
- Hogwarts mod that works for children (with Cezpid mod) and teens and allows to assist to courses, special homework notebooks that are different from each house, have a sorting ceremony that give you the houses traits, have a shopping event to buy school stuffs, final exams, diploma at the end that allows you to work in magic careers, loads of new interactions (coming soon), hogwarts letter that shows in the mailbox and allow you to apply to the school
- more than 30 functionnal wands from the Harry Potter movie
- functionnal brooms from the movies
- more than 100 pieces of CC from the shops and castle
I'm working on Diagon Alley part with Dew of the sea that even made changing cabins for Mrs Malkin shops and JH is working hard on the castle CC part
We also have small mod for bloodline traits (Muggle, Half Blood, Pure Blood) that works with ROM weak, strong, ancient bloodlines, and were allowed to re-work and update Brittpinkie harry potter mod
BP mod is already updated by Konansock and was added to Illkavelle big Hogwarts mod
The release date is for September !
We are still looking for some CC creators and modders to complete the team !

olisim do you have a thread or another site for your Harry Potter project? I'm interested in seeing it. You should make a mod where you can give orders to your club to attack A specific place or a specific group of SIM such as human SIMs |
