I recently finished a pair of earrings that looked alright up until I tested them out in game. At certain angles, it looks like there are black spots appearing on the earrings: imgur.com/pzgF1Ml It also moves as I move my sim around. Does anyone know whats happening here and how to get rid of it?

Hi. Did you edit the shadow and normal maps?

Hi. Did you edit the shadow and normal maps? From what I can tell I don't think I did. I did edit two images for the specular tab to give it shine, but I'm guessing thats not the same. Edit: I looked at this tutorial here: sims4studio.com/thread/606/editing-shadowsAnd I noticed that none of my RLE2 images have an image like the one shown in the tutorial. The only ones labeled RLE2 are my textures.

What about a normal map? Check the alpha channel, too Or replace the normal map with this blank map

Those files are just not added from the external resources. You can export or import them from the studio tab, this way it will be more convenient

So I imported the shadow and normal dds files that you gave me, and it didn't seem to change anything (there were two shadow files and I tried both with the one normal file). Could it also possibly be the specular (as in maybe I have the shine too strong), or maybe even the graphic settings I have?

Your uv map is mapped outside of the texture. Select all uv maps and moved them to the right place.
