Hi,
I would like to create a custom recipe book. To be able to click on the book and a pie menu appears with different food options.
The object is done, and the simple menu as well, but I’m not sure how do I connect the book with the pie menu, and how do I edit the food “calories” value, and maybe add some buffs after cooking?
I did a -Pie Menu Category Tuning + Sim Data -I imported all the book cc files (DST image, Model LOD, String tables, Rig...etc) -I did an Interaction Tuning for one of the recipes (Not custom) (I added the Pie menu’s category, code in the XML editor) -Object Tuning for the book, but I’m not sure what “code” should I add to here:

So you already added the category to the interaction? If you did this, made sure to edit the pie SimData and tuning to match, and added your interaction (which needs to be custom to avoid overriding EA's files) to the object tuning superaffordances then it should appear. Only other possible reason is a typo or maybe forgetting to add collapsible to your pie tuning. I remember the last one was an issue for someone and once they added collapsible set to false it finally appeared. Calories are in the object tuning, under this section labeled consumable. You'll want to edit the calories listed under fitness_info. For the buffs after cooking, or buffs after eating? After cooking you add a loot to the outcomes of your cooking interaction, and you need to have the buff applied from the loot. Zer0's tutorials that I linked go over buffs and how to add them, so make sure to read their tutorials.

Hi, trying to make my first mod. It is to add a pie tab to the easel to auto sell paintings when finished. I used mod constructor to put together a mod, but no pie tab shows. I am thinking I will need xml to to that but know nothing about xml. Any help would be nice.
Seen there used to be a mod like this, but can't find it now.

For sure you need string tables with the localized Pie Menu Category (if you want to add your own) and Menu Entries / interactions strings. Both types are tunings and they are indeed stored as XML in Package files. You need to register the Menu Entries with an object, sim or floor for TS4 to display them. I assume you want to run a SI like the one Mizore posted above. Some knowledge about the required and optional XML tags would be helpful to create such a SI. I don't know the mod constructor but creating these tunings manually is some effort. The mod constructor should have it's own support channel so the support you get here might be limited. PS: I only use script mods to process the actions so my tunings are very short. github.com/Oops19/TS4-Mystify/blob/main/_TS4/Mods/_o19_/mystify.package has 4 categories and 15 interactions.

Thanks for the reply. What I would like to do is have a pie tab on the easel that will let the player toggle on or off to auto sell finished paintings. When I 1st started trying to build this mod I was thinking I would also make it with an option to auto sell masterpieces with on and off toggle. I was also trying to find a way to make the inspire mood happen when selling is done. There was a mod creator that made a mod that worked with a club activity, but that mod seems to no longer exist. So thought I would try. It is looking like I picked a hard mod to make. Would be happy to credit any xml help you can give me.
I used "Zerbu's" Mod constructor to build what I have. When I exported the mod it created a package file and a script file. I can post the code from the script file if you need it.

With auto-sell there's also the GTW options while I assume you want to sell it with the 'Sell to Gallery / Collector' interaction and not mark it as buyable. I assume you mean www.patreon.com/posts/individual-sim-v-28497855 this mod. Not sure if it's broken by now. But even if it is broken it might be a better option to start. The mod constructor does a lot of things in the background and if things don't work you may really ask Zerbu. Looking at mods of others without any documentation is really a pain.

Oh well, the pie tabs shown in the pic don't show up clicking on ether the easel or the painting after you paint one. On the site it tells you to get an updated Resource.cfg file if it don't show up. The link on that site takes you to a page with no download of this file. Found it on TSR and it made the game to crash before it would finish loading the game. I loaded the game without the config file and the game created a new one for me with todays date stamp. but even with that the pie don't show. Thanks for your time.
