Hello everyone. I have the same problem as this one here but I can't seem to find a solution. I've been trying to make custom poses for TS4 and they work properly in Blender but not in the game itself once I create a .package file with them.
First of all, but not the most important part of this problem, S4S for some reason won't export rigs/meshes for any sim model to work on them with Blender. For example, I select "Adult Female" then "Export" but the exported .blend file is completely empty. I've been able to bypass this problem by downloading the individual adult male/female meshes and they work so I'm not worried about it. The real problem comes when making a pose with them using Blender and then importing that pose to the actual game.
I've followed a lot of custom pose making tutorials and I've done everything they say. I've particularly been following Jellysimwich's tutorial. I made a pose with Blender, pressed "A" to select all points, then "I" and "LocRot", then "save as". I closed Blender and opened the .blend file again to make sure it saved the pose properly. Then I went back to S4S and imported the .blend file into the pose pack. I clicked "Save" and the package compiled sucessfully.
But when I open TS4, click on a sim, then "Pose by pack", I select the pose pack I just created and the only pose it has, and it doesn't work as expected. Instead of making the pose I made in Blender, my sim just makes a default "A" pose (see comparison here), as if I had saved the blank .blend file with no modifications at all. But I open the file again in Blender and I can clearly see the pose I just made, and when saving it I did everything the tutorials said. I'm not really sure what could be making this "A" pose happen instead of my custom pose, as far as I know I've followed all procedures correctly.
Posts from this forum such as the one I linked in the first line say that the problem might come from invalid characters in the creator's username, mine isn't the case as I'm just named "MarshallBlack" and my Sims 4 game actually recognizes and plays the pose pack.
If any of this helps, I'm using S4S version 3.1.3.7 "Wishes", I downloaded it today. I'm using Blender 2.78 and The Sims 4 version 1.50.67.1020.
If anyone finds it helpful, you can download the working .blend pose and the .package file that doesn't work here.
Any help is heartily welcome.
